Frequently Asked Questions
The best time is from April to October, with peak sightings in June through August. However, we operate from March to December with the only indoor seating boat in town!
Whale sightings are not 100% guaranteed as these are wild animals in their natural habitat. However, Husavik has a very high sighting rate (over 98% in summer).
We provide warm flotation suits, but we recommend wearing warm layers underneath, including hats and gloves. Even in summer, the arctic ocean can be chilly.
